Senior Business Development Director – Nordics (FSP)

Reports to: Vice President, SRS
Function: Strategic Resourcing Solutions (SRS), FSP & single-resource sales
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Director to own and grow SRS sales across the Nordics. This is first and foremost a sales role, with full accountability for revenue across our FSP and single-resource offerings. You will sell resourcing solutions into clinical development; building relationships with sponsors and the clinical functions that run trials, while setting regional sales strategy, generating and converting pipeline, and closing new business.
For a candidate with the right background, the role can extend into broader operational scope: leading a second Business Development professional and the regional line managers, with delivery accountability alongside sales.
What You'll Own
Commercial ownership of SRS sales across the Nordics, FSP, single-resource placements, and hybrid models
Pipeline generation and conversion, from prospecting through to close
Regional sales strategy, target-setting, and forecasting tied to revenue and margin
Executive-level relationships with sponsors across pharma, biotech, and medtech
What You Bring
A track record of business development success, with a primary focus on generating pipeline and closing deals
An established contact network within the life sciences industry across the Nordics, pharma, biotech, and medtech
Senior BD/sales experience in the CRO, FSP, or clinical staffing/resourcing sector
Strong understanding of FSP and single-resource commercial models and sponsor buying behaviour
Ability to work autonomously and deliver results independently
Fluent Swedish (spoken and written) is mandatory; strong English essential
A bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage
Based in or willing to relocate to Stockholm (or Lund/Gothenburg)
