Strategic Resourcing Solutions
Embedded with the sponsor. Backed by TFS
The model
Work in their team. Grow in ours.
Sponsors need experienced people faster than they can hire them. SRS is how they get ours: individuals and whole functional teams, matched to the work where they deliver the greatest impact. For you, it means the variety of consulting with the stability of one employer.
Functional Service Provider
A TFS managed functional team, in monitoring, data management or safety, delivering a whole service inside one sponsor's programme.
Hybrid resourcing
Blended TFS and client teams that flex as the programme grows, shrinks or shifts. Agility both sides feel.
Project placements
Short and long term assignments matched to your skills, goals and preferred level of stability.
Permanent placement
A permanent TFS employment contract from day one. You work inside a client organisation, while your salary, benefits, line manager and development plan stay with TFS.
The offer
Why people build careers here.
Breadth you cannot get in one seat
Multiple therapeutic areas, projects and clients over time. Your CV compounds: every sponsor adds systems, indications and ways of working.
Flexibility that fits your goals
From project placements to permanent roles, choose the path that matches your goals, your work style and the stability you want right now.
A team behind you
You may sit with the client, but onboarding guidance, professional development, regular check ins and a TFS line manager travel with you.
Impact from day one
You embed where the work is, on programmes that accelerate development and improve patient outcomes, and see the influence of your contribution firsthand.
The expertise
The expertise sponsors ask us for.
If your discipline is on this list, there is a seat, from early career to principal level.
Clinical Monitoring
CRAs at every level, site facing and sponsor embedded, in the countries where the patients are.
Clinical Project Management
CTMs and project managers who run the sponsor's studies as if they were their own, because for the assignment, they are.
Data Management and Biostatistics
Data managers, biostatisticians and statistical programmers, solo or as a full FSP function.
Medical Writing
Protocols, CSRs and submission documents in the sponsor's voice, to the sponsor's deadline.
Regulatory Affairs
Submission and lifecycle support across agencies and ethics committees worldwide.
Pharmacovigilance and Safety
Case processing, signal management and safety physicians, embedded or as a managed service.
The experience
Embedded, never alone.
A proper landing
Onboarding guidance for the client's systems and culture before day one, so you arrive productive rather than apologetic.
Check ins that mean it
Regular one to ones with your TFS line manager, someone whose job is your next step, not just your current seat.
Development that travels
GCP, systems and therapeutic area training that continues through and between assignments. Your growth is not paused by a placement.
A community of peers
SRS colleagues across 40 countries who have sat where you sit, and share what works, from client quirks to career moves.
Career paths
Careers that keep building.
Move across sponsors, indications and models as your goals change. At TFS, the door between FSP and full service opens both ways.
01
Deepen
Senior and principal levels within your discipline, recognised by TFS and visible to every client you serve.
02
Broaden
A new sponsor, a new therapeutic area, a new model. Breadth that would take three employers to collect elsewhere.
03
Cross over
Step into CDS full service teams, or into SRS leadership. Moving between full service and FSP is a normal career step here.
Good questions
Questions we get asked a lot.
Who employs me, TFS or the client?
TFS, in almost every case: on permanent, FSP and hybrid assignments your salary, benefits, development and line manager stay with us while you work in the client’s team. A small number of roles are direct hires into the client organisation instead, and we always say so up front.
What happens when an assignment ends?
Your TFS line manager is working on the next match before the current one closes, across clients, therapeutic areas and ways of working. The regular check ins are not a formality; they are how we plan your path.
Is SRS only for senior specialists?
No. Assignments range from early career to principal level. Early on, SRS is one of the fastest ways to see multiple sponsors, systems and indications, with TFS training and support behind you.
Can I move into CDS later, or back?
Yes. Moving between full service and FSP is part of how careers grow at TFS. CDS and SRS are two rhythms of the same company, not two companies.
I work as an independent consultant. Is there a place for me?
Yes. Consultants work across both sides of TFS: embedded SRS placements with a sponsor, and CDS project work on our own studies. Apply to any open role that fits and tell us you are looking for contract work, and we will keep you in mind as new projects start.

On top of having knowledgeable, dedicated and fun colleagues, I love that as a mid-size CRO we are large enough to run global project but small enough for us to be flexible and where your work and ideas makes all the difference. Being part of TFS HealthScience means working in an environment with purpose, collaboration and possibility to grow and contribute to meaningful advancements in clinical research.
